Williamson county is located in southern Illinois and is surrounded by Franklin, Saline, Johnson, Union, & Jackson counties. The county seat is Marion. Other towns are Bush, Cambria, Carterville, Colp, Crainville, Creal Springs, Energy, Herrin, Hurst, Johnston City, Pittsburg, Spillertown, and Whiteash.
